There he is. The first Prime Minister in the entire history of this island country who – confirmed and officially – broke the law while in office.

A week ago today, the shitgibbon-in-chief was handed a Fixed Penalty Notice after the first tranche of fines was issued by the Metropolitan Police. This particular one was for Johnson’s own birthday bash in No 10 in June last year. By paying the attached fine, Johnson avoided this becoming a criminal offence and going on his permanent record. Up until the initial Gray report got published, he still claimed, in open session in Parliament, not to have broken any laws. Some Tory MP even suggested the PM “was ambushed by a birthday cake” and didn’t know what was going on, so basically it wasn’t his fault that he got suckered into breaking the law. The same law that he and his cabinet created in the same room that the “ambush” later took place.
We are governed and represented by a devious, lying, selfish, corrupt lawbreaker. And he will not resign. What needs to happen in this country that the decent folk, the ones that are left, actually do something about it?

Happy Birthday Jana!
Sorry for not having baked a cake. (I’m bad at baking as well as cooking – in case you have gratefully forgotten about my culinary shortcomings.) Wishing you all the best and singing “Happy Birthday” with a muffled voice*).
Yours Nadia …*) I still can’t hit a single note and I’m still wearing an FFP2 mask non-stop at work.
